Lee's Message - 3rd Qtr 2008
Dear NHBC family,
Of course, we're all excited about being in our new sanctuary. You know I am!! It will be great to have a new sound system (that we can leave in place), room for worship team AND choir, and a more sound-friendly room. But as we look forward to all of those things, its worth noting that none of them are necessary for true worship. Jesus said "I tell you the truth- there is coming a day when you will not worship in [this building or that building]... but the true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth". I hope you see the point. We will really, really enjoy the sanctuary. But true worship is what we're called to. Let's come to worship corporately every Sunday ready to give God all the glory and praise He so richly deserves.
Choir members: be ready for a return to practice soon. As we get closer to moving into the sanctuary, I'll be in touch.
