How Do I Get Involved?

North Henry Baptist Church is not a place for spectators. It is a place for team members. Whether you are a five-year old child, a ninety-five year old grandmother, a busy mom, or a businessman with big responsibilities, we want you to be a part of our vibrant church community. Here is how you can learn, serve, and grow at North Henry Baptist Church.

The easiest way to get involved is to visit one of our Connection Groups or Worship Services or simply talk with one of the pastors.

Below are some different ministry areas with which you can be involved:

Connection Groups

Often, small groups of people are better able to interact and learn about a topic than larger groups are. For that reason, North Henry Baptist Church has small bible studies held on Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m. The size of the group is anywhere from ten to twenty. Our Connection Groups not only study God’s Word but seek to make connections with each other through prayer and fellowship. Click here to find out more info or to find a group for you.

Youth Ministry

Truthseekers Student Ministry strives to help students discover God’s truth and apply it to their lives. Our Wednesday night meeting is a time of large group worship, fun games, relevant Bible teaching, and small group discussion. Each Sunday morning, students get to participate in an age appropriate Connection Group that provides small group Bible study and accountability.

Awana helps churches and parents work together to develop spiritually strong children who faithfully follow Jesus Christ. At an Awana club children will learn Bible stories and scripture along with having lots of fun during recreation time. Visit one of our Awana clubs on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. in the Gym. Awana is for children 3 years to 5th grade.

On Mission Groups

Accountability among Christians is extremely important. It is our belief that accountability helps to protect, encourage, and develop Christians of all ages. At NHBC, On Mission Groups of two or three are formed among the members and they meet weekly to discuss their Christian walk. All of our On Mission Groups meet together as their schedules allow and keep in touch throughout the week. Contact Pastor Stan Jordan if you are interested in joining an On Mission Group.

Young Hearts

Once you get past fifty, the fun has just begun. Whether retired, just plain tired, or active as ever, the Young Hearts group of North Henry Baptist Church provides refreshment, ministry, and times of valuable interaction. There are monthly fellowships where relationships are strengthened and believers are sharpened.
