“God’s Mercy”
Psalm 103:8-12 (NKJV)
The Lord does not punish us as much as we deserve. The Lord gives us more than we deserve. The Lord does not become angry with us quickly, because His mercy abounds toward us. However, we can’t presume upon His mercy and grace. It does not mean that forgiveness of sins and salvation is automatic. He is striving with us to bring us to trust Him as Lord in fear and love. When we do that He removes our sins as far as the east is from the west.- Jul 28, 2013God’s Mercy – (07-28-13 AM), by Stan Jordan

Reflection
2 Corinthians 3:7-18 (NIV)
If we want to impact lostness, we must GET RID OF the masks and REFLECT God’s glory. When we wear a mask, it is about US and our SELF RIGHTEOUSNESS. When we live without a mask, it is about GOD’S POWER and ability to make us righteous. In order to reflect God’s glory, we need to BEHOLD the glory of the Lord. - Jul 7, 2013God Satisfies Us with Good Things – (07-07-13 AM), by Stan Jordan

“God Satisfies Us with Good Things”
Psalms 103:1-5 (NKJV)
God fills our ornamentation with good things, so that our youth is renewed like the eagle’s. Only God can satisfy our bodies and our souls. If we are looking to anything else or anyone else for satisfaction in life, we will be empty. God more than satisfies us with the material possessions we really need. (Matthew 6:33). God gives us complete rest. (Matthew 11:28-30). God gives us peace beyond understanding. (Philippians 4:6, 7). God gives us the medicine we need for good health. (Proverbs 17:22; Galatians 5:22). God gives us strength. (Nehemiah 8:10). God gives us a sound mind. (II Timothy 1:7). God renews our strength. (Isaiah 40:31). These benefits are not automatic. Each one comes from knowing the Lord and walking with Him daily. - Jun 23, 2013Here Am I, Send Me! – (06-23-13 AM), by Casey Matthews

Here am I, Send Me!
Isaiah 6:1-13 (NIV)
We must recognize God as HOLY first and foremost. We must recognize our UNWORTHINESS in God's presence. We must ACCEPT his grace and love. We must respond to God's love through OBEDIENCE - Jun 16, 2013God’s Faithfulness – (06-16-13 AM), by Stan Jordan

“God’s Faithfulness”
Psalm 103:4b (NKJV)
God is always faithful to keep His covenant promises. Even when we fail the Lord, He is merciful, if we return to Him in faith. Our world needs to hear about God’s lovingkindness and tender mercies. Our families need godly fathers who are faithful and merciful. We need godly fathers who are faithful to the Lord and their wives. We need godly fathers who are faithful and merciful toward their children. “God Heals All Our Diseases”
Psalm 103:3 (NKJV)
God is the One who heals all of our diseases. (Yahweh Rapha) He created us in our mother’s womb, and He knows us completely. God does not always heal us every time we are sick or have pain. We know that God is love, and He is All-knowing. We know He always does what is best for us to become like Jesus. We must accept that God is sovereign and accept His choice to heal or not to heal with thankfulness. “Forgiveness of Sins”
Psalm 103:1-10 (NKJV)
Only God can completely forgive our sins.
Our sins are against God, first and foremost, and they separate us from God.
God’s forgiveness is not automatic.
We must admit or confess our sins to be forgiven.
We must repent of our sins to be forgiven.
We must desire to have a clean heart.
God’s goal in forgiveness is for us to become holy, not just forgiven.
That is why our sins still have consequences, even after we are forgiven.

"God's Plan for Parents"
Deuteronomy 6:1-12, (NIV)
God's plan is for parents to be the PRIMARY spiritual teachers of their children. What do we teach our children? - that God is the one true God - to love God with everything in us - all of God's commands Parents have to KNOW God's commands in order to teach them. Parents should IMPRESS God's commands on their children. The key to this passage is OBEDIENCE. Finally, we must not FORGET what God has done. “Exercising Godliness”
1 Timothy 2:1-2, (NKJV)
- The goal of the Christian life is not to just make it to heaven.
- Godliness is the goal of the Christian life.
- Godliness is submitting to Jesus as Lord of our lives and becoming like Him in every area of life.
- Christians are to model godliness for our families, friends, and others.
- Mothers and Fathers are to pass on godliness to our children.
